Mobile’s Employee of the Month for July 2021:
Ronnie Pratt

Ronnie works in the pipe mill where he is extremely knowledgeable about non-destructive testing. Ronnie is a vital part of the production team and is always willing to take the extra time to solve the problem at hand. Ronnie has been with Borusan Berg Pipe for almost 13 years, and he uses his many years of experience to mentor others to ensure premium product is leaving the facility. Ronnie is known to be a team player and has recently been helping with special projects to improve pipe production and quality.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for June 2021:
Doug Kolasa

Doug works in the coating mill where, among other things, he ensures everyone works together to make sure good product goes out the door. Doug joined the Borusan Berg Pipe team in 2009, and has worked in various roles through the years. He is described as a hard working employee who leads by example.  Doug is very knowledgeable about the practices in the department, and always willing to go above and beyond to lend a helping hand or to offer a solution to a problem.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for June 2021:
Ben Gilbert

Ben was nominated for his contributions on a project to modify the digital X-ray and the milling machine.  Time and complexity of changing parts on the digital X-ray have been significantly reduced in addition to the process of changing out parts now being safer.   With Ben's help on the milling machine modifications, downtime and cost of replacement parts will be reduced.  Ben is always ready to contribute in any way possible and help others to improve their skills in finding solutions to repeat problems.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for May 2021:
Melvin Owens Jr

Melvin joined Borusan Berg in 2018 and after completing training for Visual Inspection, UT Level I, Magnetic Particle Level I/II and most recently UT Level II, he is now in the process of gathering hours to become a certified Level II in UT.  Currently, Melvin has taken on the janitorial responsibilities which has become an even more important role as we strive to maintain a clean and safe facility to work in.  He always has a great attitude and has shown true dedication with every job he's been assigned to at Borusan Berg.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for May 2021:
Terri Yarter

Terri joined the Borusan Berg team back in 2008 and currently is a supervisor in the finishing area of the pipe mill where she ensures the team is performing well together to get quality pipe out the door. Terri is a pleasure to be around and is always willing to help solve a problem with the correct solution, even if it takes more time. Terri is very knowledgeable about the practices in the department and always willing to go above and beyond to help. Terri brings fresh ideas to problems and contributes in a team setting to create solutions.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for April 2021:
Donald Baldwin

Donald works in the UT area of the pipe mill where he takes his job very seriously and is always on task. Donald is a pleasure to work around due to his sense of humor and positive attitude.  He is very knowledgeable and is always willing to share his expertise and knowledge in training others or offering solutions. Donald is a team player and always lends a helping hand when needed. Donald is known to be very easy going and sociable, and is participates or takes leadership roles in company-sponsored events.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for April 2021:
Andrea Hauck

Andrea was nominated for thorough documentation skills during the quality inspections. Quality management is able to provide customers with valuable data confirming the quality and integrity of outgoing pipe orders. Without these records, representatives would often be sent to the field to inspect pipe further, especially during field claims regarding pipe standards.  Andrea's attention to detail proves helpful in controlling company costs and avoiding potential claims affecting employees’ Quality Incentive.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for March 2021:
Jordan Driver

Jordan works in the finishing area of the pipe mill where he does repair welds, flashing welds, grinding, along with other tasks such as quality inspections and housekeeping. Jordan began his career at Borusan Berg as a temporary employee and worked his way into becoming a Borusan Berg employee. Jordan works all over the finishing end of the mill and always brings a positive attitude to work. Jordan's peers describe him as a hard working employee that is a pleasure to work with. Jordan is a team player and often takes on other duties outside the scope of his job responsibilities.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for March 2021:
Russell Heintz

Russell was nominated for always staying focused on job assignments while also maintaining a positive attitude.  Russell does a great job of working independently and staying on task in unsupervised situations.  Recently, in addition to his daily tasks, Russell was present when another employee suddenly became caught in a machine.  Russell acted quickly and calmly during the emergency and his actions were vital in avoiding a more serious injury.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for February 2021:
Stephen Stack

Stephen was nominated for his efforts in using available time to learn additional processes and understand different specifications to increase his knowledge on tests being performed in the lab.  Stephen never hesitates to take on new assignments.  As a result of his efforts, Stephen was able to identify ways to increase the turn-around time of line-up checks during the different stages of welding to help ensure a quality set-up.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for January 2021:
DeVonte Haralson

DeVonte works in the quality control lab where he performs required testing for the pipe mill and the coating mill.  DeVonte takes the initiative to learn as much as he can to expand his skill set and to better support the team. DeVonte often assists the lab supervisor or management in completion of extra projects and tasks outside of the normal scope of his work. DeVonte usually initiates the plan for special testing and is quick to train his coworkers and share is knowledge. DeVonte brings a positive demeanor to work and is known to be a pleasure to work around.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for December 2020:
Doug Platt

Doug was nominated for going above and beyond to assist in training multiple employees as well as being very thorough in his job and recently responding to a safety hazard without hesitation resulting in no damage or injuries because of his actions.  Doug has also been instrumental in reducing the risk of yield loss by closely monitoring his area and communicating any findings. He strives to ensure that the interest of the company comes first and is always looking for ways to improve our processes.

Tim Lister

Tim was nominated for always being courteous and helpful and for the work he does on a daily basis to keep employees safe. Borusan Berg has faced many new challenges this year and as Safety Manager, Tim remains diligent in facing these challenges head-on while keeping up with his many other responsibilities and maintaining a positive attitude.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for October 2020:
SCOTT RAMSAY

Scott was nominated for consistently going above and beyond to provide assistance to other departments with resolving issues. Scott has excelled in his role as Team Leader with ensuring he and his crew are always working towards their goal of minimal downtime and efficient operations throughout the mill.  Scott has a great attitude and always takes initiative to learn other systems and develop new skills.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for October 2020:
Josh Webber

Josh works in the pipe mill where he ensures the pipe meets customer specifications. Josh always has a positive demeanor and is known to be a joy to work around. Josh can be trusted to do his job the correct way and takes it upon himself to go the extra mile. Josh is known for being very engaged and leading by example. Josh offers suggestions for improvement and also seeks clarification on behalf of the team when it's needed. Josh is typically very involved with company sponsored events and often takes on a leadership role in employee activities. Josh has great knowledge and is always willing to help others.  His enthusiasm and positivity is always appreciated but those he comes into contact with on a daily basis.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for September 2020:
Andrew Carter

Andrew is a vital part of the quality department where he helps to ensure lab samples are prepped and ready for testing. Additionally, he verifies that all numbers and sample identifications are correct. Andrew brings a great attitude to work every day. He has developed a good rapport within the department and with several other areas of the mill. Andrew is extremely reliable and has great attendance. He has taken initiative to learn how to operate a forklift to provide much needed support in the lab. Also, he is in the process of learning how to operate all lab lest equipment. Andrew goes above and beyond in assisting in completion of special/additional tasks outside the normal job responsibilities. Andrew is eager to expand his knowledge by learning new things and is always willing to share his existing knowledge by training newer coworkers.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for September 2020:
Michael Guilford

Michael was nominated for his dependability and his proactive approach to preparing the necessary tests to be conducted when a new order begins ensuring there is no delay to pipe production. Michael is also a great instructor for new staff starting in the lab and always displays a positive attitude towards others.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for August 2020:
Jerome Tidwell

Jerome was nominated for his work on the Operators Scoreboard. Jerome played a key role in rolling out this new feature in a short period of time.  His knowledge of the processes in the mill was invaluable in successfully implementing this project.  Jerome made changes quickly based on feedback he received, and demonstrated his leadership ability to resolve issues as a team, ensuring all stakeholders involved were satisfied with the results.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for August 2020:
Matthew Nipper

Matthew is a vital part of the coating mill and, when not on two shifts as a line operator, his daily duties include tape off, tape on, and assisting with daily operations. Matt is known to go above and beyond on a daily basis. Regardless of the situation, his positive attitude and personality contribute to solving the most difficult problems. His understanding and knowledge of not only the manufacturing process, but also of machinery tools and equipment is outstanding. Matt has an endless desire to increase his knowledge and understanding of every position in the coating process. Even when he is not completely familiar with how to solve a problem at hand, Matt is eager to get involved to learn and help with the solution. Matthew's positive attitude makes him a pleasure for everyone to work around on a daily basis.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for JULY 2020:
Delon Wasp

Delon is known for his positive attitude and is always a pleasure to work around. Delon is always sharing his electrical knowledge but also jumps in quickly to help with mechanical issues. Delon is always learning, always teaching, and when there is a maintenance issue, he takes time to explain to the production crews what happened in a way they can understand it. Delon is a critical thinker and is good at analyzing in a way that creates efficiencies and streamlining.

Panama City’s Employee of the Month for JULY 2020:
Richard Lombard

Richard was nominated for going above and beyond to assist employees promptly and always being patient when helping others. Richard played a vital role in providing support to those working remotely.  This support contributed to employees experiencing little to no down time and continuing normal business operations.

Billy Wright

Billy was nominated for the role he has played in the success of the Double Jointer department.  His vast experience and knowledge were vital in the efficiencies the department has worked to achieve. Billy is first to respond when a situation arises, always has a positive attitude and is always willing to help others.

Jimmie Brown

Jimmie was nominated by multiple employees for the outstanding work he does in in the forming and welding department. Jimmie is always on time and ready to work in a safe and efficient manner and with a great attitude. Jimmie is self-motivated and takes the initiative with all his tasks and is also willing to help when others need his assistance.  Jimmies goes above and beyond, takes great pride in his work,  and is a pleasure to work with.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for May 2020:
Justin Driver

Justin performs various duties on the finishing end and helps make sure all pipe that gets out the door is prime. Justin is described as having a positive attitude and always willing to help with any task when asked. Justin is very reliable and makes good decisions to help make sure everything moves smoothly on the production floor. Justin contributes daily to making Borusan Berg Pipe a positive work environment for everyone and is always willing to learn new things and teach others to help them improve their job skills.

Dustin Lewis

Dustin is a supervisor in the coating mill where he coordinates the activities of the coating mill employees for safe and efficient operations. Dustin is extremely reliable to everyone and makes sure all tasks are completed in a timely and correct manner. Dustin always brings a positive attitude and helps keep situations under control by providing stability and reassurance to employees even in stressful situations. Dustin leads by example and helps carry the workload for the entire mill and always steps in when assistance is required.

Candace Vess

Candace was nominated because of her proactive approach in providing assistance to co-workers and stepping in to performs critical tasks when needed. Recently, Candace was faced with extra projects that had short deadlines and showed a great attitude in finishing these in a timely manner. She remains calm under pressure and it shows in her work.

Kevin Day

Kevin was nominated for the initiative he's shown with the jobs he's been tasked with and excelling at those jobs. Kevin is always willing to step up to offer assistance or train other employees without being asked. He has a great attitude and an unselfish work ethic. Kevin has consistently demonstrated the ability to multi-task and assist in other departments.

Randy Huntley

Randy works in the shipping department where he helps to manage the internal logistics for the site. Randy is described as being the kind of employee that gives 100% and always does his best to help other departments ensure that pipe is handled and shipped correctly. Randy is a valuable asset to the company because of his wealth of knowledge, great work ethic, and his willingness to lighten the mood for everyone around him even in negative situations.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for February 2020:
Micah Goff

Micah is a member of the coating mill team where he also serves as a backup supervisor as needed. Micah is described as someone that always brings a positive attitude is constantly willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the job is done correctly. Micah often takes the initiative to learn extra tasks so there will be a backup for multiple roles. Micah has accumulated a wealth of experience in his several years with Borusan Berg Pipe and is known to be an employee coworkers can rely on for information and knowledge about processes and situations.

Dallas Presley

Dallas was nominated for always being willing and available to share the knowledge he’s acquired over the years of the hydrotester.  Dallas provides valuable information to Maintenance and those training on the machine.  He is always willing to help solve problems that come up which helps the entire crew to be successful.

Zach Reid

Zach is described as a very hardworking individual who quickly learns new roles and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He continuously looks for safer and more efficient ways to perform job duties. Zach is known to always go the extra mile to make sure things are done correctly.

Matthew Godwin

Matthew is always willing to lend a hand and is very quick to answer calls. He is always in a good mood and carries a positive attitude in his daily activities. Matthew is always willing to explain things to his coworkers thoroughly and is a pleasure to work with. Matthew is described as someone that goes above and beyond in taking great care in the work he does. When not on a call, Matthew is quick to offer help on miscellaneous tasks and projects.

Jeff Brownlee

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for June 2019:
Lawrence “LP" Patton

Lawrence is a crucial part of the lab team and handles all coating related testing.  LP goes above and beyond what is necessary to help the lab as a whole. Recently, when coating testing needed extra attention,  LP stayed after his regular shift to ensure the results were received for production the next day. He always has a positive attitude and makes sure the job is done in a correct and timely manner. Lawrence is described as a team player and regularly serves a mentor to share his expertise with others.

Mark Brown

Mark is described as an enthusiastic contributor to the maintenance organization. He always has a can do attitude and represents the maintenance department well by always being professional and maintaining a positive attitude.  Mark is easy to work with, shares his ideas freely, and is not afraid to speak up. Mark communicates very well with all employees and he motivates those around him.

Mark Ray

Mark is described as a leader that is very well respected among his peers. Mark is innovative with ideas that optimize equipment efficiency. Mark is described as a very good troubleshooter both mechanically and electrically that uses his experience to tackle issues and overcome obstacles without regard for recognition.

John Brown

John was nominated for his help during inventory and assisting others to get the job done and for his many talents within the mill and always volunteering to come in on his days off.  John always has a positive attitude and offers to help where ever needed.

Harry Walter

Harry is described as a great leader that’s always open to share his in-depth mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with others. Harry steps up and does whatever it takes to make sure the job is done right the first time. When faced with challenges, Harry doesn’t get angry or frustrated. Instead, he works to keep the morale up while pushing people to be better.

Mobile’s Employee of the Month for February 2019:
William Booker

William has worked on the final stencil robot for years and has become the ‘go to' expert on it. William has a positive attitude and is approachable to all. He is always willing to train others and has great improvement ideas. Although his role is electrical, William is always willing to help others to do any mechanical maintenance needed.

Panama City's Employee of the Month for December 2018:
Richard Lombard

Richard was nominated for the intricate role he played prior to Hurricane Michael to ensure our data center was safeguarded allowing recovery to move forward quickly in the event of a disaster. After the storm, Richard worked to minimize the downtime by quickly helping to reestablish communications. Richard is always willing to drop everything to assist others and always goes above and beyond frequently exceeding the expectations of those he assists.

Mobile's December Employee of the Month 2018:
Judson Meherg

Congratulations to Judson Meherg for being selected as Mobile’s December Employee of the Month. Judson has been a part of the Borusan Berg Pipe team since June 2012. Judson is recognized for his willingness to assist others with his expert knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and our SAP software. His expertise in Excel has resulted in significant efficiency improvements in the finance department.


Mobile’s Employee of the Month for November 2018:
Melissa Scruggs

Congratulations to Melissa Scruggs for being selected as Mobile’s November Employee of the Month. Melissa has been a part of the Borusan Berg Pipe team since February 2012. Melissa is recognized for effectively embracing all aspects of her assignment as a SAW operator, for continuously striving for maximum production, and for her effective communication skills.

Jason Lee

Congratulations to Jason Lee for being selected as Mobile’s October Employee of the Month. Jason has been a part of the Borusan Berg team since July 2011. Jason is recognized for his dedication in training new employees in the Weld Prep area, thereby successfully preparing that department for 2 shift operations.

Mark Preble

Mark Preble was nominated for his willingness and motivation to learn and take on more demanding job duties. Mark is always calm even in the fast-paced environment he works in. He displays a positive attitude and leads by example.

Robert Stanley

Congratulations to Robert Stanley for being selected as Borusan Berg Pipe Mobile’s September employee of the month. Robert has been a part of the Borusan Berg Pipe team since August 2009. Robert is recognized for his dedication to our safety program, his commitment to continuous improvement, and his ability to lead and coach others.

Ryan O'Connor

Ryan O'Connor was nominated for his non-stop work ethic. Ryan always wants to help with any task and in any department, has a positive attitude, and always communicates effectively. He is an asset to Borusan Berg Pipe with training newly assigned temporary staff and sets a positive example for all to follow. Thank you for your contribution and dedication to Borusan Berg Pipe.


Mobile's August 2018 Employee of the Month:
Donald Baldwin

Donald Baldwin is our Mobile's August Employee of the Month. Don has been a part of the Borusan Berg team since July, 2011. Don is recognized for his focus and diligence in obtaining the required certification to qualify as a Repair Welder. Panama City's August 2018 Employee of the Month:
Michael Sexton

Michael was nominated for the heroism and control he displayed recently in light of a fellow employee’s medical emergency. Michael remained calm during the emergency while administering life-saving CPR. Michael’s quick response and actions are a testament to his character. In addition, Wade Miller, Torlid May & Travis Underwood from Remedy as well as Tim Lister and Amanda Cook are commended for their actions during the emergency.
