Reliability/TPM Engineer

Berg Pipe is looking to hire a Reliability/ TPM Engineer for our Mobile, AL location. The Reliability TPM Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the mill equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently, by analyzing and monitoring the production processes and equipment for continuous improvement and cost control. This position will also drive a strong robust TPM program and become a key change agent in translating TPM into the local culture. The goal of the TPM program is to markedly increase production while, at the same time, improving safety, increasing employee morale and job satisfaction.  

Qualifications

  • College degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Reliability or Maintenance Engineer.

  • Advanced understanding of Preventative and Predictive / Condition Based Monitoring technologies, such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Oil Analysis, and NDT.

  • Project Management skills and abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.

  • Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and collaborative skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.

  • Computer experience with MS Office Products.

Preferred Education and Work Experience

  • Knowledge of six sigma methodology.

  • Experience with Maximo maintenance program.


Industrial Electrician

Berg Pipe has multiple openings for Industrial Electricians.

  • Passing score on Ramsay written test and practical skills test, administered by Berg Pipe.

Maintenance Technician

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. The Maintenance Technician repairs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components and applies knowledge of mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restores equipment to operation.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Passing score on Ramsay written test and practical skills test, administered by Berg Pipe.

Preferred Education and Work Experience

  • Post-secondary education.

  • Experience in heavy, industrial manufacturing.
